It isn’t often, but every once in a while a piece actually comes together better than expected and this is one of those times. KUA, like most organizations in 2009, were limited in both budget and content for their annual report, but they still wanted to get their money’s worth. We came up with a great idea highlighting how the non-profit organization put money back into the community and helps though many less than obvious avenues.

These avenues were other organizations and businesses in town, so we wanted to highlight those individuals in the piece. By coming up with the theme of “Let it Shine,” we were able to allow people to interact with a simple light for the photo shoot. Through the process, the aspects of the individuals and their programs came out and we were able to utilize that. Our final touch was to put a spot gloss UV on every page to play with the light and reemphasize the theme of “Let it Shine.”
